Artists under 40, there is still time to enter in the "Focus Under Forty' exhibit at the Rowayton Arts Center. This is the show for rising young stars. This exhibit, exclusively for artists ages 18-39, puts the spotlight on artists you 'll want to know. This show enables regional young talent to boldly express themselves without restrictions on theme or media. Expect to see artists pushing the boundaries with clarity and boldness in their paintings, sculptures and installations.
Best in Show is awarded a prize of $250. The Exhibit Chairs are Eunice Roy, Yuko Ike, Co-chair is Karen Kent and the Judge is Paul DeRuvo.

For almost 60 years, the Rowayton Arts Center has been a cultural gem in the community. It is an exceptional gallery where regional artists may exhibit and sell their art as well as a wonderful venue for art workshops and classes. The RAC Art School offers classes to children and adults at all levels. The RAC Gallery and Art School are located on the bank of the scenic Five Mile River in Rowayton, CT at 145 Rowayton Avenue.
