Over 200 Cited For Distracted Driving In Norwalk: PD
Police said over 200 drivers were cited during a two-week Distracted Driving High Visibility Enforcement period in August.

NORWALK, CT — During a two-week Distracted Driving High Visibility Enforcement period in August, Norwalk police cited drivers for cell phone infractions and other distractions while driving. Police said the aim of the campaign was to reduce crashes and make Norwalk safer.
According to police, these are the results of the enforcement period:
- Cell Phone Infractions: 225
- Suspended Drivers: 2
- Other: 28
Police said one driver also had an active arrest warrant.
