Oyster Festival Traffic Advisory Issued By Norwalk Police
The annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival will take place this weekend.
NORWALK, CT — The annual Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival starts Friday, Sept. 7, and runs through Sunday, Sept. 9. According to police, drivers should expect delays in lower East Norwalk as well as South Norwalk due to festival traffic.
According to a news release, Seaview Avenue will be closed from Fort Point Street to First Street during festival operating hours.
East Avenue between Seaview Avenue and Van Zant Street will be one-way for northbound traffic only from Friday at 4 p.m. through Sunday at 9 p.m.
