Pair Of Armed Robbery Suspects Arrested By Norwalk Police
The two were developed as suspects in the course of the investigation.

NORWALK, CT — A pair of suspects were arrested by Norwalk police Thursday in connection with an armed robbery at the Colonial Village Housing Complex on March 11, announced Norwalk Police Lt. Terrence Blake.
"After a lengthy investigation, the Detective Bureau was able to secure arrest warrants for Gabriel D. Banegas and Jeremy Jimenez," stated Blake. "Banegas and Jimenez were apprehended by detectives on March 21, 2019. Detectives want to thank the community for their help and ask anyone with information regarding this investigation to contact Detective Brendan Collins at 203-854-3191."
Banegas, 19, is from Highview Avenue in Stamford, while Jimenez, also 19, lives on Monterey Place in Norwalk.

Both were charged with first-degree robbery, conspiracy to commit first-degree robbery, and risk of injury to a minor. The two were each held in lieu of $750,000 bonds and are scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court at a later date.
