NORWALK, CT — The 2023 municipal election is heating up in Norwalk and there are plenty of local races with candidates eager to serve in elected office.

What is your occupation?

I have over 15 years experience in business administration. I currently hold a position in the Insurance and customer operations field.

Do you have a family? If so, please tell us about them.

I am married with 1 child who is 12

Does anyone in your family work in politics or government?

No

Have you ever held a public office, whether appointive or elective?

No

Now we'd like to ask a few questions about your reasons for running and your general views on politics and government. First, why are you seeking this office?

I am seeking office because our children need to get back to the fundamentals. I want to help reconnect our youth they are disconnected and disengaged we need to help them reach their full potential to test their limits and want to achieve greater. Our children deserve more from us as parents teachers and nurturers

Please complete this statement: The single most pressing issue facing my constituents is ___, and this is what I intend to do about it.

I believe the lack of funding the disconnection of students parents and teachers. Raise awareness to the issues that are effecting our youth I would like to reconnect teachers and parents with each other for the betterment of our children. I will bring the awareness the pros and cons of raising an homeschooled child

What are the major differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

I intend to bring in knowledge and key points about homeschooling the obstacles work ethics and responsibilities. My son has been homeschooled from birth I can share information that can be helpful to many parents.

If you are challenging an incumbent, in what way has the current officeholder failed the community?

We have no after school programs or outlets for our students we lack the resources and funding.

What other issues do you intend to address during your campaign?

I want to address the issue of helping our youth cope with common problems such as the disconnection we have with them and teachers How we can come together on common ground

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

I have accomplished many goals I am a hard working mother who have homeschooled my son from birth I help in the community with the youth and provide a safe environment anyone who comes to my home

What is the best advice anyone ever gave you?

People would forget what you did but they would never forget how you made them feel

Is there anything else you would like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am an hard working mom who’s son been homeschooled from birth I would like him to experience the joy and excitement I had growing up going to school the teachers that helped shape my life the learning experiences friends and life lessons
