Person Injured In Norwalk Shooting: Police

The shooting occurred late Tuesday night, according to Norwalk police.

NORWALK, CT — One person suffered what Norwalk police described as a minor gunshot wound late Tuesday night in a shooting on Suncrest Road, according to authorities.

The shooting occurred at about 11:45 p.m., and no other injuries were reported.

Officers had been called to the area on a report of shots fired and found the victim; additional details were not disclosed.

"Detectives were called to the scene to investigate," said Lt. Jared Zwickler in a statement. "This case remains under investigation by the Detective Bureau and anyone with information is asked to call the Detective John Sura at 203-854-3011."
