Planet Fitness Announces Online Pre-sale For New Club In Norwalk

The club recently opened its online presale for area residents to purchase memberships to the new location before it opens for business mid-June.

Planet Fitness has implemented numerous health and safety measures at all of its club locations to protect the health of its members and staff. The new club, which is located at 369 Connecticut Avenue in Norwalk, will follow the same health and safety protocols, including:

• A crowd meter on the Planet Fitness website and app so members can check club capacity in real-time before heading to the gym
• Increased sanitization every 20 minutes to continually clean and sanitize high-tough areas
• Social Fitnessing™ in which some cardio machines and equipment are marked out of use so members have ample space and separation for physical distancing
• Mask requirements that follow local and CDC guidelines
• Employees receive daily temperature checks and PPE

With more than 1.5 million Connecticut residents fully vaccinated against the coronavirus and as COVID restrictions ease across the state, more people are going back to gyms and fitness centers. Due to the recent influx of gym-goers, Planet Fitness recognized the need to expand its Norwalk location, accommodate more members, and offer new amenities.
