Police Catch Fugitive After Foot Chase In Norwalk: Report

NORWALK, CT — Police said a Norwalk man who was wanted on an outstanding warrant from Georgia was arrested Sunday after employees from the CVS on Main Avenue reported he had allegedly stolen items from the store, the Norwalk Hour reported.

According to the Hour, police said officers located the accused, later identified as 43-year-old Omovudu Iyesi of Norwalk, who led police on a foot chase over train tracks and across the Silvermine River. The accused was arrested after officers cornered him in a nearby parking lot, police said.
