Police Charge Man With Breaking Into Ex's Home: Norwalk PD

NORWALK, CT - Police said a man was arrested Saturday on charges of breaking into his ex-girlfriend's home on Cloverly Road after being discovered there by a dog walker, the Norwalk Hour reported. The incident occurred at approximately 6:30 a.m., according to police.

Police said the dog walker found the man, who has not yet been identified by police, shirtless and smoking a cigarette on the couch, according to the Norwalk Hour. A sliding glass door in the rear of the house had also been smashed, police said.

Police said the owner of the home was on vacation at the time of the incident and told officers she suspected the man might be her ex-boyfriend, the Norwalk Hour reported. The suspect was sent to the Norwalk Hospital for psychiatric evaluation, police said.
