Police: Death of Norwalk Woman a Homicide

Marian Alexander, 52, was discovered deceased in her Arch Street home last week.

Norwalk, CT - After discovering the deceased body of Marian Alexander, 52, in her Arch Street home on Friday, Norwalk police have now ruled the case a homicide.

The circumstances surrounding the death are still being investigated, reports The Hour's Harold F, Cobin, but she was neither shot nor stabbed, according to police.

Alexander lived alone in the Arch Hill Commons condominium complex, but whether police have a specific suspect in the case has not been disclosed.

The determination to characterize the case a homicide occurred following a medical examiner's autopsy, the findings of which have not been disclosed.
