Police Investigating Shooting In Norwalk

At least one person was taken to the hospital following the shooting in the area of 30 Day Street Friday night.

NORWALK, CT — An investigation is underway following a shooting in Norwalk Friday night.

The Norwalk Combined Dispatch received multiple calls regarding shots fired in the area of 30 Day Street at about 11:50 p.m., according to a news release. Patrol division officers responded to the area and located a crime scene, authorities said.

A short time later Combined Dispatch received a call from Norwalk Hospital regarding a male that arrived at the hospital with a gunshot wound.

Detectives are actively investigating the incident, and anyone who witnessed the incident or has information is asked to contact Detective Sura at 203-845-3039.
