NORWALK, CT — Norwalk police are asking for the public's help identifying a man accused of illegally cashing checks.

In a news release, Police Lt. Joe Dinho said the department is conducting a forgery investigation involving stolen and altered checks.

According to Dinho, the man illegally cashed these checks and identified himself to bank tellers as Christopher Collins. Police did not specify the date the checks were cashed.
