Police Seeking Suspects Following Car Chase: Norwalk PD

Norwalk police said they are seeking two suspects in a reported break-in and ask anyone with information to contact them immediately.

NORWALK, CT — Police said they are seeking two suspects in a reported break-in that occurred Wednesday night. According to a press release, police said they received a report at 11:35 p.m. of two men attempting to break into a vehicle at a residence on Flicker Lane in the Rowayton area of Norwalk.

Police said the suspects left the scene in a Honda sedan when officers responded, however officers quickly located the vehicle and attempted to stop it. The vehicle then fled from officers and entered Interstate 95 south, police said. (To sign up for Norwalk breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

According to police, officers pursued the vehicle to the area of Exit 6, where the pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns. The vehicle was located a short time later, abandoned in Greenwich, by Greenwich Police.

Police said officers searched the area, however the suspects were not located. The Honda was found to have been stolen from Ridgefield, police said.

The Norwalk Detective Bureau is investigating the incident and requests anyone with information or video in the area to contact them at 203-854-3011.
