Police Seize Cocaine, Fentanyl From Norwalk Home: PD
Police said investigators seized cocaine, fentanyl and more after executing a search warrant in Norwalk.
NORWALK, CT — Police said investigators seized cocaine, fentanyl and more after executing a search warrant at a Mahackemo Drive residence in Norwalk this week. According to a press release, the Norwalk Special Services Division and the Stamford Police Department Narcotics and Organized Crime Unit conducted a joint narcotics investigation into Dominico Sandalo, 45, of Norwalk during the month of June.
Police said a search warrant was issued for the accused’s residence as a result of the investigation. The warrant was executed by members of the Norwalk Police Tactical Response Team, Special Services Division, Stamford Police and Drug Enforcement Administration on Thursday, police said.
According to police, officers found the accused engaged in a drug transaction with Ioannis Papachristou, 37, of Norwalk when they arrived.

"Both men were immediately taken into custody and Papachristou was found to be in possession of marijuana and THC Vape cartridges," Lieutenant Terrence Blake said in a release.
Police said officers subsequently seized the following items from the residence:

- 46 Fentanyl pills
- 77 Oxycodone pills
- 750 grams of powder cocaine
- 15 pounds of marijuana
- 771 THC vape cartridges
- Vials of human growth hormone and assorted steroids
- $53,943
Police said Papachristou was charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana.
