NORWALK, CT — Police advise Norwalk residents to be wary of scam violin players pretending to be sick or homeless to solicit money.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, police said this type of scam has already been witnessed in Norwalk.

"If you want to provide money that will go to people who need it," the post reads, "please donate to established, confirmed programs that will truly support the needy."
