A sign posted to the window of the restaurant Thursday noted the location was "leveling up" and was "pausing service to upgrade [customers'] experience."
The sign also encouraged guests to visit the chain's nearby Fairfield location in the meantime.
"We'll be back soon. Thank you for your patience," the sign reads.
Exciting Upgrades, Collaboration
According to Haven Hot Chicken, the refreshed Norwalk restaurant will feature upgraded service flow, a revamped interior design and enhancements focused on speed, efficiency and in-store hospitality.
"This reopening is more than a facelift," Haven Hot Chicken Co-Founder Jason Sobocinski said in a news release, "it's a full guest experience upgrade to make it faster, more fun and the best place to experience what makes our brand so special."
To mark the occasion, the Norwalk location will host a grand reopening event featuring a live DJ spinning from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., according to the company.

The chain will also team up with The Vulgar Chef, a social media influencer "known for his wildly inventive, no-holds-barred food creations," for an exclusive limited-time menu collaboration item available July 12 only while supplies last, according to Haven Hot Chicken.
"This location is now a space that pushes flavor boundaries and lives up to the craveable, high-energy vibe that defines Haven," Sobocinski said, "and Saturday's celebration is our way of saying thank you to the Norwalk community and inviting everyone back to see what's new."
