Popular Salad Chain Celebrates Grand Opening In Norwalk With Full Week Of Promotions

NORWALK, CT — Just Salad, a popular fast-casual restaurant chain that serves up inventive salads, wraps and warm bowls, announced this week the official opening of its newest location in Norwalk.

According to a news release provided by Just Salad, the fast-casual restaurant chain recently opened its first Connecticut drive-thru location at 644 Main Avenue.

Just Salad first announced plans to open a new restaurant in Norwalk back in May 2024.

The new Norwalk location "flexibly integrates drive-thru while still offering dine-in services, inviting guests to either eat in-store or take meals to go," the release notes.

"We're building upon the success of our very first drive-thru opened one year ago which has proven what today's health-conscious guests are looking for – food that is just as fresh as it is fast," Jen Lally, chief marketing officer at Just Salad, said in a news release. "Just Salad is known for its approachable, flavor-packed meals featuring freshly-prepped produce, house-made dressings and high-quality ingredients. This fourth location – but first drive-thru – in Connecticut allows us to be part of the community's movement towards prioritizing health and sustainability in ways that meet them where they are in their daily routines."

To celebrate the opening of the Norwalk restaurant, Just Salad has announced the following full week of grand opening promotions:

• Wednesday, March 18: Giveback Day: For every in-store purchase, Just Salad will donate $1 to Live Green.
• Thursday, March 19 – Saturday, March 21: $5 Meal Days: Get a $5 chef-designed salad, wrap, warm bowl or market plate all day long.
• Sunday, March 22: Community Workers Day: Community workers get one $5 chef-designed meal.
• Monday, March 23: $5 VIP Bowl Day: Bring or purchase a Just Salad reusable bowl, get a $5 chef-designed salad or warm bowl.

The Norwalk location is open daily from 10:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. More information is available here.

In addition to Norwalk, Just Salad currently operates Connecticut locations in Fairfield, Westport and West Hartford, with a Milford location planned to open soon.

The company also operates locations in nearby states New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts, as well as Pennsylvania, Florida, Illinois and Washington, D.C.

Customers at Just Salad can choose from a wide menu of inventive salad combinations, including Crispy Chicken Poblano, Thai Chicken Crunch and Buffalo Chicken, as well as warm bowls such as Cilantro Lime Chicken and Edamame Crunch.

Wraps, smoothies and "market plates" are also available.
