Regina Kenion, 71 of Norwalk, CT passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Sunday, November 10, 2019. Regina was born on April 30, 1948 in Stamford, CT to the late Ervin Lee Kenion and Johnnie Mary Davis.
She was employed at Pitney Bowes, SACIA-Southwestern Area Commerce & Industry Associate and she worked caring for the elderly and for children in her community.
Regina is survived by her loving children Regina McClain, Barbara Quiles (William), Sheila Sullivan, (Brack) of Atlanta, GA, Tammy McClain-Darby (Alonzo) of Bridgeport, CT, Crystal McClain of White Stone, NY and one son Talib Jehu “TJ” Shabazz (Crystle) of Kansas City, MO and nineteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Two brothers, Melvin L. Kenion (Vertelle) of Charleston, SC, Eshemenie Kenion (Berlene) and one sister Ivy McIntyre of Bridgeport, CT; and the late David Kenion and the late Garnell Kenion, and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends are invited to the Hoyt-Cognetta/Raymond Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street, Norwalk, CT on Friday, December 6, 2019 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m. for a celebration Memorial Service in Regina’s honor. Interment will follow at the Woodland Cemetery, 66 Woodland Place, Stamford, CT.
