NORWALK, CT — The city issued a reminder this week that Norwalk residents have until Aug. 1 to pay their property tax bills and sewer use charges.

According to a news release, property tax bills include real estate, motor vehicles and business personal property taxes. These bills reflect the first installment of charges due on the grand list of Oct. 1, 2021.

The tax collector's office began mailing residents these bills on June 24. By law, these bills are due on July 1, but residents have a grace period of Aug. 1, according to the city.
