Road Closed In Norwalk Due To Cooking Oil Spill: PD

NORWALK, CT — Police said Thursday afternoon on Facebook that East Avenue is closed to all traffic between Winfield Street and Fort Point Street due to a crash involving a truck carrying cooking oil, which leaked onto the roadway.

According to police, crews are on the scene conducting a cleanup, which is expected to take several hours.
