NORWALK, CT — A portion of New Canaan Avenue (Route 123) in Norwalk is temporarily closed Tuesday afternoon, according to police.

Police said on Twitter, around 11 a.m., the road is closed between Route 15 and New Canaan Way. A picture of a damaged vehicle in the middle of the road, along with a firetruck and two other vehicles, was also posted by police.

Drivers are asked to use alternate routes at this time.
