Robert Mallozzi III of Bankwell joins Board of STAR, Inc.

Bankwell's Robert Mallozzi III, SVP, Director of Business Development & Government Affairs, has joined the board of STAR, Inc.

Bankwell’s Robert Mallozzi III, Senior Vice President, Director of Business Development & Government Affairs, has joined the board of STAR, Inc.

Mallozzi joined Bankwell in 2017 and is responsible for introducing and building business relationships and is also a liaison with local municipal governments, state legislators and agencies while representing Bankwell at government forums and functions. He previously completed three terms as First Selectman of New Canaan. He has served as Chairman of the New Canaan Board of Finance, Fairfield County CEO Representative to the Connecticut Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Ex-Officio of the New Canaan Town Council, Vice Chairman of the South Western Regional Metropolitan Planning Organization, and Charter member representative of the Western Connecticut Council of Governments.

A New Canaan resident, Mallozzi has been married for 27 years to his wife, Elizabeth, and has two children. He earned a BA from the University of Vermont.

STAR is a not–for-profit organization serving individuals of all ages who have developmental disabilities, as well as providing support services to their families. They create opportunities for individuals to live full lives with independence, freedom of choice and personal growth by providing support, services and advocacy.
