Obituary: Rose Mary M. Sandomeno
Rose loved cooking and hosted many gatherings at her Jersey shore home. The Lord filled her heart with warmth and kindness.
Rose Mary Margaret Sandomeno (Gugliemetti) of Wilton passed away at home on December 9th. Born July 11, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Michael and Rose (Molinari) and wife of 42 years to the late Michael J. Sandomeno, of Rumson, New Jersey.
She cherished being with her daughters, son-in-law, and especially proud of her two grandsons and all their accomplishments. Rose loved cooking and hosted many gatherings at her Jersey shore home for family and friends over many years. She was a devout Catholic and the Lord filled her heart with warmth and kindness.
She is survived by daughters Deborah Stenger (Bill), Rosemary D. Sandomeno, grandsons Michael W. Stenger (Alexandra), Eric J. Stenger (Karen) and two precious great-grandchildren Julianna Rose and Austin James. In addition, she leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends.
She is predeceased by her husband (1992), son Michael (1996), and brother Michael K. Gugliemetti (2013).
A visitation will be held Monday, December 13, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Historic Norwalk 5 E Wall Street Norwalk, CT 06851. Interment will follow at the Mount Olivet Cemetery 100 Chapel Hill Road, Red Bank, NJ 07701.
