Salvador Olmeda Jr 49 of Norwalk, CT passed away on January 4, 2019. Salvador was born in Norwalk CT on August 12, 1969 and was a lifelong resident. He attended from Norwalk High School.
Sal was employed at Sono Seaport restaurant as a cook and was the owner of Don Corona promotions and the 99¢+ stores in Norwalk.
His first love was his family, who always had a special place in his heart. He was a man who loved music, dancing, cooking and especially playing the Guiro to make everyone happy. Sal’s smile and big heart touched so many people When Sal walked into a room the party officially started. He joked, laughed and danced and made sure everyone was happy and having a good time.

Salvador is survived by his father Salvador (Margarita)Olmeda Sr., mother Esmerelda (Miguel) Sanchez; sister Carmen (Luis) Olmeda-Landrau and brother Juan Carlos Olmeda. Daughters Jacqueline Olmeaa, Katherine Rosa: sons Salvador Olmeda III and Joshua Olmeda. Grandchildren Anais Berbesi, Emily Tinoco and Deyren Rojas. Nephews Michael Delgado, Juan Christian Olmeda and niece Kylie Olmeda.
Friends may visit the family on Thursday January 10, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hoyt Cognetta/Lesko Funeral Home, 5 East Wall Street in Historic Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am on January 11, 2019 at St. Joseph Church on S. Main Street, South Norwalk, with Father Frantz Desruisseaux officiating.
