Sample The Best Of Sono During 'Maritime With A Twist'

NORWALK, CT – Sample the best of South Norwalk’s restaurants amid pulsing jellyfish and prowling sharks during a fun adults-only evening on Thursday, Jan. 11, at the Maritime Aquarium in Norwalk. “Maritime with a Twist” is which are casual affairs offered occasionally to celebrate and connect SoNo’s food and drink with the Maritime Aquarium.

From 6 to 9 p.m., guests 21 and over can explore the entire Aquarium, including the expanded new jellyfish exhibit “Journey with Jellies” and the new “Sea Turtle Nursery” featuring an adorable 4-month- old loggerhead sea turtle, according to a release.

Pay at the door and enjoy happy-hour samplings from such neighborhood restaurants as Killer B SoNo, O’Neill’s Pub & Restaurant, Harlan Publick, Saltwater Restaurant & Bar, Cask Republic, The Blind Rhino, Washington Prime, SoNo Falafel and Enchanted Szechuan, as well as Forever Sweet Bakery and the meal-delivery service Maikana Foods.

Area breweries, distilleries and retailers offering their products will include Asylum Distillery, Spiked Seltzer, The Naked Turtle White Rum, Jameson Irish Whiskey and Jacob’s Creek Wines.

“Maritime with a Twist” will include live jazz by the Damon Grant Project. Tickets are $50 ($45 for Aquarium members), with all proceeds going to the Maritime Aquarium.

There are no other costs for food and drink after your admission ticket.
