Schools Closed Friday In Norwalk Due To 'Ongoing Traffic Concerns'
All practices are canceled through the weekend, district officials said.
NORWALK, CT — Norwalk Public Schools will be closed Friday due to ongoing traffic concerns and delays as a result of a crash involving a fuel truck that shut down Interstate 95 in both directions early Thursday morning.
District officials said on Facebook they will allow athletic games, drama performances and proms to take place.
All practices are canceled through the weekend, district officials said.

During a press update held Thursday evening, Governor Ned Lamont said the crash near Exit 15 in Norwalk damaged a bridge that will need to be replaced immediately, halting two-way commuting on the interstate until at least Monday morning.
