Seasonal Norwalk Ice Rinks Not Returning This Winter: Report

NORWALK, CT — Those looking forward to skating at The Rinks at Veterans Park this winter may have to look elsewhere, as the rinks will not be returning this season, the Norwalk Hour reported. The seasonal rinks became an annual tradition in the winter of 2016/2017 and were operated by the SoNo Ice House.

According to the Norwalk Hour, city recreation and parks officials said the rinks would not be returning for their third season as it did not make financial sense for the operator. It is unclear if the rinks will return in future years.
