Sentencing Recommended for Norwalk Woman Who Beat Brother with Aluminum Baseball Bat

NORWALK, CT — Amber Greco, 23, of Norwalk, will be sentenced to five years in prison in connection with the 2014 beating of her brother with an aluminum baseball bat during a drunken argument, reports the Stamford Advocate.

Greco, who was on probation at the time, is currently in prison in upstate Connecticut for a prior conviction. She broke her brother's nose when she slammed him in the face with the bat.

She pleaded guilty to assault, violating a judge's protective order and other charges. Her formal sentencing is scheduled for December.
