NORWALK, CT — A registered sex offender was arrested after he was found hanging around near a middle school during soccer practice, according to police.
Joseph Wilson, 57, was charged with loitering in or around school grounds and criminal trespass for the Sept. 12 incident, according to the Norwalk Hour.
Wilson was charged with second-degree sexual assault in 1991 and was released from prison in 1994, according to the state sex offender registry. He initially told police he gave a boy he knew a ride to practice, but later admitted it was a lie, police said.
