Shoplifter Threatens Norwalk Employee With Scissors: Report
Police said a suspected shoplifter allegedly threatened an employee with a pair of scissors before running off.

NORWALK, CT — Police said they are investigating after a suspected shoplifter allegedly threatened an employee with a pair of scissors, the Norwalk Hour reported. The incident occurred Saturday afternoon at Marshall's on Westport Avenue.
According to the Hour, police said the suspect attempted to leave the store with a bin of clothing when he was stopped by an employee, which resulted in a scuffle. During the altercation, the suspect pulled out a pair of scissors and brandished them in a threatening manner before running off, police said.
Police said the employee was not injured and the suspect was not located, according to the Hour.
