Snow Emergency Update Released For Norwalk: City

City officials have provided an update on a snow emergency that was declared in Norwalk over the weekend due to a heavy snowstorm.

NORWALK, CT — A snow emergency declared over the weekend in Norwalk will be lifted Tuesday night, according to the city.

In a Facebook post Tuesday, city officials said Mayor Barbara Smyth will lift the snow emergency in Norwalk at 6 p.m.

Smyth initially declared the snow emergency Saturday afternoon, which included parking restrictions for the city's snow emergency routes.

The lifting of the snow emergency follows a heavy snowstorm that impacted the state and dropped 10 to 18 inches of snow in many areas of Connecticut, including Norwalk.
