Software Telco Congress Helps Carriers Compete with OTTs

Programming at Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) event focuses on enabling carriers to reclaim network revenue

Norwalk, CT – September 30, 2013 – TMC today announced the inaugural Software Telco Congress, held November 20-21, 2013, in Santa Clara, California, will deliver programming designed to enable carriers to better compete with Over-The-Top (OTT) service providers such as Skype, Viber and WhatsApp. Software Telco Congress will merge the latest information and insights on Network Functions Virtualization (NFV)—the latest carrier initiative that will help turn hardware-based Telcos into software Telcos, allowing them to be more flexible and cost-effective in rolling out new, lucrative services.
