Stamford Couple Accused Of Stealing $460K From Elderly Norwalk Person

Authorities opened an investigation last November into the couple's alleged crimes.

NORWALK, CT — A married Stamford couple was arrested this week by Norwalk police on warrants charging them with first-degree larceny, after police said the pair stole $460,000 from an elderly Norwalk person.

Arrested were Kelley S. Lombardo, 49, of Redmont Road, who was serving as the elderly victim's conservator, and her husband, Michael T. Lombardo, 46, of the same address.

In addition to first-degree larceny, the two were also charged with conspiracy to commit first-degree larceny. They surrendered to Norwalk police on Thursday.

In 2014, Michael Lombardo was sentenced to prison after pleading guilty to one count of wire fraud, after federal prosecutors accused him of defrauding nearly two-dozen former investment clients.

Details of the current case were not disclosed, but police accuse the two of acting together to illegally take the money from the victim "for their own personal use."
