Starbucks Opens At SoNo Collection Mall In Norwalk

NORWALK, CT — A new Starbucks coffee shop has opened at the SoNo Collection shopping mall in South Norwalk.

The coffee shop officially opened Sept. 15 on the third level of the shopping mall, near the Nordstrom department store, according to a post on the store's Instagram account.

The store is open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

"We're excited about Starbucks opening, especially at this time of year, on top of the return of the highly anticipated [pumpkin spice latte] as we enter southwestern Connecticut's beautiful fall season," Matt Seebeck, the mall's senior general manager, said. "The lines have been large but the wait times short, and I'm happy to see so many guests sipping and shopping."

Starbucks joins a growing roster of coffee shops and cafes at the mall, including Café Oui and Nordstrom Ebar Artisan Coffee.

The mall's website advertises the coffee shop as a combination Starbucks and Haagen Dazs ice cream shop, and a large sign for Haagen Dazs could be seen next to the coffee shop Wednesday afternoon, however only the Starbucks appears to currently be operational.

Requests for comment from Starbucks were not immediately returned.

Earlier this year, premium sneaker store Soleply opened at the mall, specializing in exclusive, rare and vintage sneakers and clothing. The SoNo Collection is located at 100 N. Water Street.
