Steel Topping Out Marks Milestone for Westy Self Storage in Norwalk

Westy Self Storage announces the steel topping out at the expansion of their Norwalk storage facility located at 50 Keeler Avenue. Just 3 months after breaking ground, this milestone marks the next phase of construction. The Norwalk center was the 3rd of now 15 Westy locations. Westy has been proudly serving Norwalk for over 17 years!

Topping out defines the placement of the final steel beam. This beam is the last of nearly 289 tons of structural steel that has been used to construct the new addition. This current expansion will add over 360 additional storage units allowing Westy to better serve their customers. Precast wall panel cladding will follow the final steel with an estimated project completion date at the beginning of March.
