Stew Leonard's Announces New Halloween-Themed Milk, Holiday Cookie Whipped Cream

NORWALK, CT — Just in time for the first day of fall, Stew Leonard's has announced a brand new Halloween-themed flavored milk is now available at its Connecticut stores.

The "world's largest dairy store" recently announced on social media the arrival of Stew's Screamsicle Milk, which the store said "brings that creamy orange and vanilla flavor to our nostalgic and collectible glass bottle."

Stew Leonard's Spokesperson Meghan Bell said Monday the new orange-colored limited edition milk is available in stores now.

"It's creamsicle-flavored, naturally colored and comes in a Halloween-themed collectible bottle," Bell said in an email to Patch.

In addition to its flagship Norwalk store, Stew Leonard's has Connecticut locations in Danbury and Newington, as well as stores in New York and New Jersey.

"This new milk comes from Oakridge Dairy in Ellington, [Connecticut]," Bell said, "which is owned by a local family farm that makes our other popular flavored milks for us like Cookie Milk and Coffee Milk."

To celebrate the arrival of Screamsicle Milk, the Norwalk store's animatronic Cookie Milk bottle has even been redecorated to resemble the new Halloween-themed product.

"Our friend has officially switched into spooky season mode and is ready to hang out with you at Stew's," the store wrote in a Facebook post over the weekend. "Stop by the store and check out the newest member of our spooky crew!"

Speaking of Cookie Milk, the store has also introduced a new twist on the popular viral flavored milk ahead of the upcoming holiday season: Cookie Milk light whipped cream.

Cans of the new Cookie Milk whipped cream could be seen on store shelves in Norwalk on Monday.

"After our Cookie Milk became an instant hit, transforming that same delicious flavor into a rich whipped cream was a natural evolution," Bell said.

According to Bell, the product is a limited edition release, however customers can find it in the store's dairy department all the way through the holidays.

A recent email advertising the store's products also teased Cookie Milk ice cream will be "coming soon" to stores.

Customers looking to embrace the arrival of fall can also enjoy other seasonal treats available at Stew Leonard's, including the store's popular apple cider donuts, new caramel apple crisp cookies and its beloved pumpkin soft serve ice cream.

A sign advertising an apple cider donut sundae featuring the store's soft serve vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and Stew Leonard's apple cider donut holes could also be seen at the Norwalk location Monday.
