Structure Fire Breaks Out At Norwalk Building: FD
Nearly 30 firefighters helped extinguish a structure fire in Norwalk, according to fire officials.
NORWALK, CT — Nearly 30 firefighters responded to a structure fire early Friday morning in Norwalk, according to fire officials.
In a news release, Deputy Chief Adam Markowitz said the fire was reported at a Wilson Avenue residence just before 1 a.m.
A police officer in the area reported smoke coming from the building with visible fire inside, Markowitz said.

When crews arrived, smoke was emitting from the back of the building. Due to the size of the building, more firefighters were called to the area to assist, Markowitz said.
The fire was quickly located, contained and extinguished with minor damage to the residence, Markowitz said.

A total of 29 firefighters responded to the fire, Markowitz said. No injuries were reported.
