This Sunday at St. Paul's on the Green

The Right Reverend Barbara Harris, African American clergywoman and social activist – first female bishop in the Episcopal Church – will preach at the 9 and 11 am services on Sunday, May 15.

Bishop Harris was bishop suffragan of the Diocese of Massachusetts until her retirement.

In the 1960’s, she participated in Martin Luther King’s Selma march, supported the women’s rights movement and campaigned for the full involvement of women in the Anglican clergy, and has also been a strong advocate for the LGBTQ community.

All are welcome to be part of this historic visit and experience Bishop Harris’ prophetic preaching.
