Support the YWCA Darien/Norwalk at 'Travel with Taste' Benefit on Saturday, February 28
Ticket sales will support YW community outreach programs including Job Search Support and Parent Awareness.

With over fourteen restaurants dishing up culinary delights and multiple sponsors providing support, the YWCA Darien/Norwalk has received an impressive amount of local help in planning its benefit, ‘Travel with Taste’. In hopes of ensuring its success with continued support from the community, the YW invites all to shake off the winter blues with a fun filled evening at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 28 at Dolce Hotels and Resorts Norwalk, the event’s co-sponsor, at 32 Weed Avenue, Norwalk. Guests will be treated to an evening filled with music, dancing and exceptional dining, complete with a tasting of the area’s best signature restaurants, live music by Tangled Vine and a wide selection of auction and raffle items.
All proceeds will support YW community outreach programs including Job Search Support and Parent Awareness. The YW strives to help women achieve and retain sustainable employment with programs such as Job Search Support, that sharpen work readiness knowledge and skills for re-entering the workforce or shifting careers. The YW Parent Awareness program provides education to parents and children to encourage healthy, positive development of youth and families.
“We are thrilled to have our benefit in this beautiful venue that has it all, from the ambience and warmth of a cozy fireplace to a dance floor for kicking up our heels to the great music by Tangled Vine,” said Sophia DeLeon, YW Board Member and Event Co-Chair. Dolce Hotels and Resorts Norwalk has also made it easy to turn the night into a mini getaway, offering rooms to event attendees for $79.
