'Susan B. Anthony' Performance At Norwalk Library March 4
"Susan B. Anthony: Failure Is Impossible" will be performed by actress Sheryl Faye.

From Norwalk Public Library: Norwalk Public Library will celebrate Women’s History Month on Wednesday, March 4, with a solo performance by Sheryl Faye of “Susan B. Anthony: Failure Is Impossible.” The free performance begins at 12 noon, in the Main Auditorium, located at 1 Belden Avenue, Norwalk, A light lunch will be provided courtesy of the library. and there will be time for questions at the end of the program.
Susan B. Anthony was a women’s rights activist, who devoted her life to racial, gender, and educational equality. One of the most famous women in American history, she played a prominent role in the women’s suffrage movement; the 19th Amendment, which gave women the right to vote, and also supported women’s labor organizations and a woman’s right to own property. In 2020 we celebrate not only 100 years since the ratification of the 19th Amendment, but also Susan B. Anthony’s 200th birthday! Sheryl Faye has acted in numerous theater, film and television productions. She has brought her one-woman Historical Women Performances to schools, libraries, historical societies, camps, senior homes and more. She holds a BFA in Acting from Emerson College, and has studied her craft with many acting coaches.
