Suspect Accused Of Stealing Copper Plumbing From Norwalk Garages: PD

The suspect is accused of stealing the copper fixtures from two public parking garages in the city, according to authorities.

NORWALK, CT — A 34-year-old Stamford man was arrested this week on a warrant charging him with fifth- and sixth-degree larceny in connection with the theft of copper plumbing fixtures from the Yankee Doodle and North Water Street parking garages in Norwalk, according to police.

Johnathan Williamson was arrested Wednesday at Stamford Superior Court; Norwalk police said he was already in custody at the time of his arrest on similar charges.

The thefts occurred on July 18 and 22; detectives processed both crime scenes and obtained video footage from the surrounding areas, which led to police identifying Williamson as the suspect.
