Suspect Accused Of Stealing Fishing Poles From Norwalk Home: PD
The theft took place at a residence on Raymond Terrace, according to authorities.

NORWALK, CT — A 56-year-old man was arrested by Norwalk police over the weekend in connection with the theft of fishing poles from a shed in the backyard of a home on Raymond Terrace, according to authorities.
Jose Crespo, of no known address, was charged third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny on March 7.
According to police, officers were called to the home at about 3:45 a.m. on a report of a burglary.

"The homeowner observed an unknown party enter a shed located to the rear of the property," police said. "The suspect had stolen fishing poles from the shed, and the homeowner provided a description to officers as well as showed them a video of the suspect."
A short while later, a patrol officer saw an individual matching the description — who later turned out to be Crespo — enter Ludlow Commons, an elderly housing complex in East Norwalk. Crespo, who has a relative at the facility, was arrested inside, and officers recovered the stolen items from his vehicle parked outside.

Crespo was held in lieu of bail of $1,500, and he is scheduled to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 17.
