Suspect Arrested In Norwalk Stabbing: Report

NORWALK, CT — A woman was hospitalized early Saturday after being stabbed multiple times in an attack on Winfield Street in Norwalk, and a suspect in the stabbing has been arrested, reports The Hour.

The victim, whose identity was not released, is reportedly in her 30s and is in serious condition. Arrested was Clifton Cole, 36, on charges of first-degree Assault, Possession of a Deadly Weapon, and Risk of Injury to a Minor (two counts).

Details surrounding the attack were not immediately available, but police told the publication that there was not a threat to the public. Cole was held in lieu of a $750,000 bond and is due to appear in Norwalk Superior Court on March 13.
