Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested In Deadly Norwalk Overdose: PD
The victim died last August from a cocaine/fentanyl overdose, according to Norwalk police.

NORWALK, CT — A 29-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested on a warrant by Norwalk police Monday morning in connection with a fatal drug overdose in Norwalk last August, the department announced.
Charlie Castillo, of Central Avenue, surrendered at Norwalk Police Headquarters and was charged with second-degree manslaughter and sale of narcotics.
"On August 31, 2019 at 4:27 PM, Norwalk Police Officers and Paramedics responded to a Norwalk residence on the report of an unconscious individual," said Norwalk Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino. "The individual was rushed to Norwalk Hospital in critical condition. Despite rescue efforts, the victim died later in the day. The investigation continued in the home where officers located suspect narcotic paraphernalia."

Norwalk police detectives launched an investigation and learned from medical examiners that the victim's cause of death was "an overdose stemming from the use of cocaine/fentanyl."
The investigation led to Castillo, who police said sold the narcotics to the victim.

Castillo was held in lieu of bail of $500,000 and was scheduled to be arraigned in court on Monday afternoon.
