The Community Fund of Darien supports Carver!

The Carver Foundation of Norwalk is grateful for the many years of consistent and significant support we receive from The Community Fund of Darien.

The Community Fund of Darien recently celebrated Darien’s generosity by awarding grants totaling $636,500 to 26 agencies, including Carver, serving Darien, Norwalk and Stamford.  Executive Director Carrie Bernier and Community Fund board members and volunteers welcomed nonprofit leaders at its annual Grant Awards breakfast.

For over 90 years, The Community Fund’s mission has been to improve lives of those less fortunate in Darien, Norwalk and Stamford by investing in agencies that make a difference with grants addressing a broad spectrum of needs including at-risk youth, hunger, homelessness, abuse, mental illness and more.  Additional Community Fund programs in Darien include the high school Youth Community Fund for young philanthropists, the Youth Asset Team and Touch-A-Life grants for Darien residents who are struggling financially.
