Rising Stars Performing Arts is on the rise and ready for a busy and creative summer! Rising Stars Performing Arts, or RSPA for short, is Norwalk’s newest full-shop nonprofit performing arts school rehearsing at St Paul’s on the Green conveniently located right in the center of Norwalk, CT.

Singing, Acting, Dance, and Musicianship classes from K-College are our specialty at Rising Stars; we call it our Quadruple Threat Method. For over 10 years the Rising Stars program has run at various schools and theaters throughout Fairfield County, CT. Our alumni are currently enrolled in top college/conservatory programs and are actively working professionally. Now we are our own entity and making a splash!

After a completely sold out run of Shrek Jr at Wilton Playshop this March, we look forward to mounting both PIPPIN and LEGALLY BLONDE JR. this summer! Pippin auditions are June 13th at 6:00pm. Self tapes will be accepted for those unable to attend a live audition. All high school and college students are warmly invited to audition. Our PIPPIN performances will occur July 29-30th. We will rehearse Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings- no weekends until the week of the show.

LEGALLY BLONDE JR. will be part of our two week summer camp. All students will receive a part! This summer camp experience will have classes in our quadruple threat method (singing, acting, dancing, and musicianship) every day.

For kids K-2nd grade we are doing STONE SOUP and for students 2nd-6th grade a DISNEY EXTRAVAGANZA. These two half-day camps run from July 31st- August 4th with performances on August 5th.

Are you in need of entertainment for your graduation party or summer soiree? Rising Stars Performing Arts will be orchestrating a summer concert tour with the students enrolled in our ART OF SINGING class. This is a great class for the advanced singer to take their ability to the next level with an emphasis on duets, trios, and small ensembles. Students are trained to sing like the pros. Patrick McGill, recent Yale graduate, and head of our Musicianship department, will coach students alongside Artistic President and Founder, Joe Santaniello.

Returning by popular demand, our MUSICAL THEATRE INTENSIVES are a one week program that will begin and end our summer with a bang! Thomas Purvis is home from The Book of Mormon national tour joining our leading dance and acting teacher, Jessica Rae Foulds. Students will partake in a mixture of singing and dance classes, highlighting broadway’s finest musical theatre, from classic broadway to today’s hits.

Come one, come all this summer! Join our RSPA family and ignite your passion for performing!
