Thousands Of Free Books Given To Norwalk Children And Families

NORWALK, CT — Thousands of free books - 40,000 in fact - will be distributed to Norwalk children and families, courtesy of the Norwalk Federation of Educational Personnel.

"The project is part of the 'First Book' initiative, and is dedicated to inspiring a love of reading and to help all Norwalk students succeed in school," according to the below Norwalk Public Schools' Facebook post.

The NFEP union is made up of classroom aides, tutors, health services assistants, parent coordinators and other vital school system support staff.
