Tractor Trailer Fire Breaks Out On I-95 In Norwalk: FD
A tractor trailer caught fire on Interstate 95 in Norwalk, according to fire officials.

NORWALK, CT — Crews extinguished a tractor trailer fire that broke out Thursday evening on Interstate 95 in Norwalk, according to the Norwalk Fire Department.
In a news release, Assistant Chief Timothy Reardon said the fire was reported around 7:30 p.m. between exits 17 and 16 on I-95 south.
Firefighters from Norwalk and Westport both responded to the fire, according to Reardon.

When crews arrived in the area, they found the tractor portion of a fully loaded tractor trailer on fire, Reardon said.
Firefighters were able to quickly extinguish the blaze, which prevented the flames from extending to the trailer portion of the vehicle, according to Reardon.

No injuries were reported, Reardon said.
The cause of the fire is undetermined, according to Reardon.
