Traffic Advisory Issued for Oyster Festival Today and Tomorrow in Norwalk

NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Police Department has issued the following traffic advisory for the streets near the Norwalk Seaport Association's Oyster Festival, presented by First County Bank, which is scheduled for this weekend, Sept. 10-11:

The Norwalk Seaport Association Oyster Festival will be taking place on Saturday September 10 and Sunday September 11 at Veteran’s Park. Please expect delays in lower East Norwalk and South Norwalk due to road closures and festival traffic. We ask that all drivers use extreme caution if driving in the area of festival due to increased pedestrian traffic. Norwalk Police Officers were be posted throughout the area to assist with vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

Resident Only parking will be posted on streets near the festival and officers will be patrolling and enforcing violations.
