U.S. Passport Services Return To Norwalk Public Library
The Norwalk Public Library has officially reinstated passport application services.
NORWALK, CT — The Norwalk Public Library announced Friday it has officially reinstated passport application services.
According to a news release provided by the library, the service will process new U.S. passport applications (DS-11) for adults and children under 16 by appointment only.
Passport renewals are completed online or by mail through the U.S. Department of State and will not be offered by the library, according to the release.

Appointments can be made during library hours.
To schedule an appointment, patrons may call the reference desk at 203-899-2780 (ext.15109) or email information@norwalkpl.org, according to the library.

The library also noted that online booking will be available soon, and patrons can contact the library for more information on fees, processing times and required passport documents.
"Please be advised that Norwalk Public Library does not provide passport photo services," the release reads. "Patrons are recommended to use Walgreens, CVS or Staples for photo inquiries."
The library is located at 1 Belden Avenue in Norwalk.
